Tour Reviews

This was my first time in Scotland and this trip was an absolutely amazing experience. Everything was better than I could have ever imagined. The B&B was very nice and the hospitality was great. Our driver guide, Brendan, was an absolute blast and made the experience so much better. He was extremely knowledgeable, but also very funny and outgoing. He was great at thinking on his feet and was very accommodating to what all of the passengers wanted. If you're thinking about taking this tour, DO IT! It is well worth it! And be sure to ask for Brendan!

It was lucky the weather had been sunny and warm during the trip. The landscape was spectacular, especially Skye, definitely worth the time. Special thanks to our best tour guide Barney, he is the best!

This was a great trip, well planned and executed and still flexible enough for our wishes. Good stories and great sightseeing. Would do it again. Lizzie was an amazing tour guide.

I had been to Scotland once before and had taken a one-day tour with another company. However this time I came with my mom and we decided to do a 3 day tour of the Highlands and of Skye. Best. Decision. Ever. Not only was the scenery beyond gorgeous , we also had an amazing driver/guide who went above and beyond! He spoke to all of us before starting the drive asking us if we wanted to see the real Scotland. We made frequent stops where he would tell us a little bit about each place and let us really appreciate the beauty of Scotland without all the tourist traps. We avoided crowds by arriving places just as others were leaving. He told us great stories and legends about the lands. My favourite in particular was about Alexandria's daughter and the river. I stuck my face in the river! Tommy did as well, which made it ten times better!! He really wasn't afraid to get into it and really talk to people. In the bus he played not only older Scottish music but also modern variations on it which, I felt, helped connect to the country on a deeper level. He always made me laugh with his humour and went along with mine as well! I proudly wore the title of "crazy lady" on the bus. My mom and I both decided that when we come back next time (and we will!) we will definitely be booking with Highland Experience! Hopefully we'll be able to drive with Tommy again!!
