As we near the coast, we pass Eilean Donan Castle*. Here you have the chance to take photographs and see the castle that featured in the film Highlander. After visiting the castle, it's time to cross the bridge to the Isle of Skye, our final resting stop of the day.

Tour Reviews

Wonderful Skye Experience. We love this tour and everything has turned out to be wonderful. Amazing sceneries, nice accommodation, and a great guide! Our guide, Brendan, has made our experience much better than expected.

Great experience, great guide! One of the best trips ever experiences in my many travels. The majesty of the Highlands and the authentic beauty of the Isle of Skye were enhanced by our guide’s experiences and knowledge. Brendan is surely one of the best in the business. His love and appreciation for the region and apparent in descriptions and stories. On top of having a great sense of humour, he also sings very well. I highly recommend Highland Experience Tours who took great care of us from beginning to the end of the trip.

We had a wonderful experience visiting some lovely places in Scotland. The scenery was amazing and we learned a lot too. Our Tour guide Tommy (Braveheart) was brilliant. He was friendly, knowledgeable and funny which made the tour even better. Highly recommend this tour and make sure Tommy is your man.

My first experience in the Highlands, but I hope not the last one (I really want to spend much more time here). Andrew's passion for Scotland and his great way to tell stories have created the perfect atmosphere. And I really hope to visit you in your dream house on the Isle of Skye one day, Andrew; I'm sure your dream will come true.

It's a real shame that there are only 5 stars. This tour deserves far more. 3 days exploring some pretty out of the way places in the Scottish Highlands and on the Isle of Skye puts on you on sensory overload! Great tour guide with Brian - fantastic personalized stories and the "fun facts". A memory I will treasure for a long, long time. Just enough guide led and personal time so that I didn't feel cramped. The B&B host for two nights in Broadford - The Sheiling - was great. Alex and Catherine were excellent hosts. This couldn't have gone better. Thank you Brian, thank you Highland Experience.
