Head into the Highlands...

Leaving the capital behind us we travel to join with our fellow travellers from Glasgow.

Experience the Great Glen, Ben Nevis and Glen Coe...

As you travel north visit Glen Coe and feel the past come to life as our guide tells you about the terrible massacre of the MacDonald clan. Then take in the majestic sweep of the Great Glen and the stunning heights of Ben Nevis, Britain's highest mountain. Drive along Loch Ness sleep by the shores of its beautiful and tranquil shores.

Overnight:  Loch Ness

Day 2

Go Monster Hunting...

After a delicious Scottish breakfast, explore the loch. Why not take a boat tour* over to Urquhart Castle*, or just monster hunt from the shore?

Homeward Bound...

We then drive through Inverness to visit Culloden*, last stand of the Jacobites against the British government forces. Then you'll pass the stunning Cairngorm mountains, stopping en-route to visit a distillery* and discover just how whisky is produced, then you will be able to explore a picturesque Highland town before arriving back in Edinburgh.

Tour Reviews

Amazing tour, completely impressed with all. Moray was a Gem, the Guest House perfect.
(Charlotte Smith - June 2016)

Our guide Rob was FANTASTIC! we loved every minute... Best part of our vacation.
(Aberlich - April 2016)

We had a lovely mix of people on our tour, not too big and not to small, which really helped the cohesion of the bus and the amount to which we enjoyed the tour. Sadly, Nessie made an appearance five minutes after we left. :-) Can't imagine exploring the Highlands any other way!
(Michael Nance - March 2016)

I loved this! Truly a wonderful way to see the countryside and learn about Scottish history. I booked another trip while I was still on this one!
(Jennifer L - September 2015)
