Tour Description

Dunkeld, The Queen’s View and Glenturret Distillery

Head for the Highlands…

We depart Edinburgh’s most famous street, the Royal Mile, and begin our journey north. We will stop to enjoy views of Scotland’s newest UNESCO World Heritage site, the iconic red Forth Railway Bridge.

We’ll travel through the Kingdom of Fife and stop in the pretty town of Dunkeld. Here you’ll have time to see the cathedral and to wander along the River Tay. We then continue north to the quaint Highland town of Pitlochry for lunch. Perched on the River Tummel and surrounded by mountains this is a particularly beautiful spot.

A view fit for a queen...

Next you can take a short stroll up to the Queen’s View viewpoint and enjoy the incredible landscape over Loch Tummel, Schiehallion mountain and even towards Glen Coe on a clear day.

Through the Sma' Glen to Glenturret Distillery...

Enjoy a gorgeous drive through this picturesque glen as we travel towards Scotland's oldest working whisky distillery; Glenturret* where you'll learn and see how they make their whisky by hand and have the chance to try a Single Malt!

We’ll then return to your departure city of Edinburgh.

*Optional extra - subject to seasonal availability.

Glenturret Distillery tour: £8.00 for tour and two drams.
